Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016, any plotted development exceeding 500 sq mt of land area or comprising more than 8 plots must be registered with MahaRERA before marketing or sale. All WENSBRIDGE plotted projects are registered accordingly.
NA (Non-Agricultural) conversion is a statutory order from the revenue department that converts agricultural land to a non-agricultural residential or commercial use. Buying agricultural land without NA conversion for residential purposes is legally problematic. WENSBRIDGE's plotted projects have completed or are in the process of completing NA conversion before plot sales commence.
Yes. Non-Resident Indians (holding Indian passport) can purchase residential plotted land in India under FEMA guidelines. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO/OCI) may also purchase with certain conditions. Agricultural land, plantation properties, and farmhouses have separate restrictions. We recommend consulting a FEMA-compliant attorney for individual circumstances.
